What is Click Sounds Pack Installer?

Click Sounds Pack Installer (CSPI) is an extension mod for Click Sounds that can add custom click packs to the Click Sounds Index (the library of click packs available in the Click Sounds menu).

How do I use it?

First, you will need a click pack. It must be in .packgen.zip format. If the pack is in ZCB Live format, you will need to use Packcon to convert it to a .packgen.zip click pack. If you need to make a new .packgen.zip pack, use Packgen. Click packs with over 25 clicks or 25 releases will not be allowed on the Click Sounds Index if you intend to publish your click pack.
Once you have your pack ready, simply open the CSPI menu using the PI button in the icon kit, press ‘Add Pack’, choose the type, and select the .packgen.zip click pack. CSPI Main Menu

How do I make sounds for my packs?

This is a broader topic that has many already existing tutorials online. Generally, the best click packs have sounds that:
- Have no delay in the beginning - Have minimal background noise - Are not too loud or too quiet - Are not too long

How do I download CSPI?

Click Sounds Pack Installer can be downloaded from the Geode Index. CSPI Main Menu

Notes

The Click Sounds Index will not automatically download by default when CSPI is enabled. Disabling CSPI Invalidation in Click Sounds' settings will change this, although it will remove your custom packs on startup. Click Sounds will not play audio files that contain video data.
